The Sri Lanka Embassy Seva Vanitha Unit on 25th October took part in a “Sri Lanka promotion exhibition” at the Movenpick Hotel organized by the Hotel Management in collaboration with the participating Embassies.  The event was patronized by Embassies of Sri Lanka,  South Africa, Austria,  Australia , Kenya, Germany, Syria, Poland, Oman,  Tunisia, Ghana, Turkey, Hungary and China. 

The Sri Lankan Embassy stall was decorated with posters, handicrafts items, ornaments, photo-frames etc. showcasing Sri Lanka’s culture, heritage, fauna & flora and places of attraction.  The stall attracted a large number of visitors and was the best stall out of over 14 stalls took part in the promotion.

The visitors to the stall were offered a cup of tea and had a glimpse of  Sri Lanka’s breath-taking sceneries played on a TV screen.  The staff on duty at the booth who dressed up in traditional Sri Lankan Sarees added glamour and did the country proud on that occasion.
