The members of the Seva Vanitha Unit took part in the “British Ladies Society Bazaar” on Tuesday 1st December at Movenpick Al Bida’s Hotel & Resort.   This is the second occasion that the Seva Vanitha Unit took part in the BLS bazaar having participated for the first time in December 2008. 

There were more than 60 stalls selling a wide variety of goods representing different countries and cultures.    The Seva Vanitha Unit booth sold the world famous Ceylon tea to the visitors.  Large crowds visited the bazaar including the Sri Lanka booth, where they tasted Sri Lanka tea served by the staff on duty.    The occasion helped promote Sri Lanka tea and tourism among the visitors. 

The sales proceeds will be donated for the needy children.
