Seva Vanitha Booklet Unveiled PDF Print E-mail

 A booklet published by the Sri Lanka Embassy Seva Vanitha Unit featuring events & activities conducted by the unit was unveiled on 12th September at the Ambassador’s residence in the presence of Seva Vanitha members.

The activities organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit following its revival in October 2008 were not just confined to promoting Sri Lanka’s culture but also arts, dances, food, fashion, tourism, people etc, but were also geared towards raising funds for charitable causes benefiting the needy, specially women and children. 

The President of the Unit in a goodwill message has acknowledged with gratitude the commitment with which the entire membership, Sri Lankan community and the likeminded have contributed for the success of the activities of the unit. 

The articles featured in the book were compiled and word-processed by  Mrs. Rishanthi Welikanna while the book was designed and conceptualized by Miss Shahira Ousman, members of the Seva Vanitha Unit.  The book can be viewed by clicking on the Seva Vanitha icon on the Embassy homepage at http://www.slembkwt.org
