On the occasion of celebrating the Sri Lanka Culture Week in Kuwait, from 26th April to 2nd May 2010 a special publication titled “Sri Lanka Culture Week in Kuwait” was printed and launched with the courtesy of the National Council for Culture, Arts & Letters of Kuwait and the valued sponsors who patronized the event.  The special publication which was printed both in English and Arabic carried  feature articles on Sri Lanka’s history, culture, arts & dances, fashion, food, sites & attractions etc. 

The articles published in the book have been compiled by Mr. W.S. Premaratne, Counsellor, while the publication was designed by Shahira Ousman of the Embassy.  The Chandana Wickramasinghe Dance Group and the Fashion Designer cum Artist, Sonali Dharmawardene have also been featured in the publication together with messages from the Sri Lankan Ambassador and the Secretary General of the Kuwait National Council. 

The publication is considered a useful source of reference / guide for those who are interested in Sri Lanka.
