The Sri Lankans staff attached to Al Mulla Group of Companies has made a voluntary donation of Rs. 58,989.00 to the “Ranaviru Rehabilitation Fund”which will benefit the disabled servicemen at the Ranaviru Sevana.  The cheque for the said sum was handed over to the Ambassador by Mr. M H M Manasique, Executive Secretary, Al Mulla Group at the Embassy on 14th December 2009.

Accepting the cheque, Ambassador appreciated the generosity and goodwill extended by the Al Mulla staff toward the disable soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice for the liberation of the motherland. He remarked that the Sri Lankan community in Kuwait within the last six months’ period has donated over Rs. 6 M. which has greatly benefited the war heroes and their families.

Mr. Manasique on behalf of the Sri Lankan staff of Al Mulla Group expressed the hope that the Sri Lankan community in Kuwait will continue to support and assist the war veterans in kind and deed. He further said that the Sri Lankan work force at Al Mulla Group, as always, will continue to support the motherland to usher in peace and unity for all Sri Lankans.
