An article in the “Divaina” newspaper of 29th October 2010 carried a falsehood to the effect that the Embassy has suspended drinking water to the Sri Lankan community visiting Embassy to obtain services.  This is nothing but a fabricated story planted by parties with vested interest to discredit the Embassy and its staff.  In a rebuttal published in the “Divaina” newspaper of 30th October, a copy of which is appended below, Embassy has refuted these allegations.
