The Seva Vanitha Sub Unit of the Sri Lanka Embassy in Kuwait took part in a Charity Bazaar at the Annual Spring Carnival of The English School of Kuwait organized by the School Parents Association on 21.03.2009. The members of the Sri Lanka Embassy Seva Vanitha Unit prepared short-eats & snacks and sold them at the Bazaar. A large number of people who visited the Bazaar purchased snacks and short-eats from the Sri Lankan stall. The sales proceeds from the items sold will be donated for charitable causes through Foreign Ministry Seva Vanitha Unit. This is the 2nd occasion that the newly formed Sri Lanka Embassy Seva Vanitha Unit took part in a charitable event. A photo taken at the Sri Lanka stall is depicted below:
